I don’t believe a second anymore that Sony will NOT release this car for real 🙂 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ivQaTyMj4-Q
The German reliable newspaper Handelsblatt reports that Mercedes did put in place a new more advanced version of their imponent restructuring plan. The only way to reduce cost is to offer the CLS and GT4 models as pure electric cars. At the moment they offer this car with different engines: 4-6-8 cylinder version and mild hybrid models. The plan is to cut them all and offer one single model. Make sense to me!
EVO reports: Maserati’s main points of investment will be put into its two other manufacturing plants, the first an €800million redevelopment of the Mirafiore facility, which will be Maserati’s electric vehicle manufacturing hub dedicated to EV-only production. The first model to be built in the revitalised plant will be an all-new GranTurismo and GranCabrio, both featuring four seats, a sleek two-door body and a pure-EV powertrain in 2021.

Jay Leno tested the Taycan and here are his thoughts: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tgWXNL7wAPE Also Car and Driver tested the Taycan vs the Tesla S and concluded that the Tesla is the winner mainly because the Tesla is cheaper to buy: Judged from the driver’s seat alone, the Taycan is the better car. It meets the high expectations of this storied brand, proves its real-world range, and moves the EV bar on a couple fronts. But price is always a factor; in this case, an insurmountable one.
Chris Harris tests the newest threat to Tesla’s domination – the brand new, 761bhp all-electric Porsche Taycan. And despite it’s grippy four-wheel-drive electric architecture, Harris manages to get it sideways. Of course he does. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sUmc1JjKUis
