The German reliable newspaper Handelsblatt reports that Mercedes did put in place a new more advanced version of their imponent restructuring plan. The  only way to reduce cost is to offer the CLS and GT4 models as pure electric cars. At the moment they offer this car with different engines: 4-6-8 cylinder version and mild hybrid models. The plan is to cut them all and offer one single model. Make sense to me!

EVO reports: Maserati’s main points of investment will be put into its two other manufacturing plants, the first an €800million redevelopment of the Mirafiore facility, which will be Maserati’s electric vehicle manufacturing hub dedicated to EV-only production. The German magazine Auto Motor und Sport interviewed the Mr. Frank-Steffen Walliser (Head of Porsche-Motorsport). He shared quite some interesting tidbits: When asked about a possible full electric Porsche 911 he answered: It’s a relatively small car with a short wheelbase and a very low seating position.
